Mr. BERG has been appointed by the Norwegian Ministry of Finance as Deputy Chairman of the Oil Taxation Tribunal in the period 1 July 2011 to 1 July 2015. Mr. BERG has experience from the inland revenue service. Procedural experience in tax law with commissions from the public sector and also broad experience in tax and company law. BERG has implemented several major generational transitions in family-owned enterprises.

Education Candidate in Jurisprudence, University of Oslo 1976.

Admitted to the bar 1981.

Several exams from the Norwegian School of Management - BI.
Work experience Compulsory Military Service as lawyer in the Norwegian Defence.
